The CD should autostart. If for some reason this does not occur,
simply click on your "start" button go to "run" and type "d:\pcfp.exe"
(in this example, D:\ is the drive letter for your CD rom drive, but
it may be different in some cases).
Once the CD is running, simply follow the on-screen instructions.
MAC OS
The CD should automatically start and bring up instructions for installing
the frames. If for some reason this does not occur, please follow
the "Manual Install" instructions below.
- MANUAL INSTALL
All Operating Systems - Windows & Mac
Browse the CD for your chosen image/frame file type.
- "d:\JPGs" for .jpg files
- "d:\Paint Shop Pro" for pfr. files
- "d:\Photoshop" for .psd files
Copy the image files to the directory of your choice. (For Paint
Shop Pro™ users, we recommend your 'Frames' folder inside
your Paint Shop Pro™ install directory).
- LOCATING YOUR FRAMES
WINDOWS
After running the install, if you chose the default locations you can find your frames in the following
locations.
- "c:/PC Frames Pro/" for .JPG files
- "c:/Program Files/Adobe/Photoshop X.x/PC Frames Pro"
for .PSD files (Where X.x is your Adobe PhotoShop™ version
number.)
- "c:/Program
Files/Jasc/Paint Shop Pro/Frames/PC Frames Pro"
for .PFR files.
- USING YOUR FRAMES
Using your favorite graphics/photo editing
software, simply open the frame of your choice from the install
directory (see above). Then remove or mask the white area and
overlay the frame on your picture. What could be easier?
Jasc Paint Shop Pro™
If you used the 'Jasc Paint Shop Pro™' install type, then
you have the .pfr files for native frames. Open your "Help" menu
inside 'Jasc Paint Shop Pro™'for
detailed instructions on using frames.
Adobe PhotoShop™
For the .psd format files, the frame is the top layer; simply
insert your picture as a layer under the frame layer, or
drag the frame layer to your picture.
